Given up for adoption
The CB650 has been sold and has gone to its new owner. He is a guy that likes to work on old cars and bikes for a hobby. Maybe he will have more luck than I did. I am still curious what the problem was, so he promised me he would let me know if he got it running.
Now I have more room in the garage for the new Goldwing.
Ah, that’s a shame… You’d done so much work cleaning that thing up! Did you have some pics of the “completed” bike back together? Sans black spraypaint?

The only pics I have are what is posted here. Maybe I can get the new owner to send me some pics once he gets it all buttoned up again.

Any news on the old 650? I need closure!! Did he get it running and what was the issue with it?

I have a 1981 CB650 Custom in my garage that was given to me and has not been started for >18 years. I am going to start digging into it soon, with hope of summer riding. I’d just like to know what was found with your carburetors that could keep fuel from going into the engine. Did the guy you sold it to ever get back to you? If so, what was wrong with the carbs?
Thanks, Eddie.

I also have a cb 650, no problems with fuel to the carbs, but 2 of the carbs get very hot (don’t know if it is the one and three or the two and four). Please let me know something. e-mail me or please give the new owner. wvtntwv@aol.com, thanks IGGY!
