Cleanup in the hot garage

Temperatures have been in the high 90’s, so it has been a tad bit warm for working on the bike, but I did do a bit more cleanup on it.

I finished cleaning and painting the aftermarket exhaust that was on the bike.

I also found a set of OEM pipes on eBay. They are a little rough, but they will clean up enough to be presentable.

The side cover I ordered arrived, but it was actually a right side cover with a label that said left side. I really only wanted it for the emblem anyway, so it was no big deal.

After a  lot of polishing, I got the left side chain cover cleaned up.

Slowly but surely, it is coming around. As soon as I get the rest of the cylinders cleaned up, I can put the carburetors back on, install the exhaust, and fire it up.
